While summer is on its way out (hello, fall!), I still want to share details of the second half of our epic summer vacation series! If you missed the first post, check out the busy beginning to our vacation at Bonnaroo.
After having a magical time camping on The Farm and enjoying a long weekend of music at Bonnaroo, AJ and I drove home to Pittsburgh, repacked our bags, and jet setted off to Orlando, FL for an adult Disney trip! And believe me, you’re never too old for a trip to Disney! We think we might have had more fun than some of the kids there anyways.
Here’s a visual lookback on all of our Disney fun.
Taste testing Lefou’s Brew at Gaston’s Tavern in Magic Kingdom.
Obviously he uses antlers in all of his decorating. (A little overkill if you ask me!)
Fine dining at Be Our Guest restaurant.
I might have been the most excited for this! When we were considering where to book reservations a couple months prior to our trip, Be Our Guest was my number one pick. Beauty and the Beast has always been my favorite Disney Classic, and especially after this year’s live action release, I have been in full Belle mode.
Rapunzel’s hanging lanterns at night.
Visiting Pandora, the world of Avatar – by day and at night.
Disney’s newest addition to Animal Kingdom is a breathtaking, immersive visit to Pandora. From the floating mountains to the Na’vi River and Flights of Passage, Pandora is a must-see by day and at night! While this is a new section of the park with lots of visitors and long wait times, the lines themselves are enjoyable to see with all of the details that went into bringing Pandora to life.
Wait, was that an ovomorph?!
The Tree of Life at Animal Kingdom.
Star Tours, Wars, and everything else at Hollywood Studios.
Say Star Wars and I’m in. From the Storm Troopers’ march to all of the movie props on display, there are a lot of great things to see. Annnnddd, I can’t wait until the new Star Wars additions are finished! Here’s a preview of what Hollywood Studios is planning.
Relaxing nighttime views at Coronado Springs Resort.
Sweets and treats at Sprinkles in Disney Springs.
Cupcake sandwich with Cap’n Crunch ice cream? Yes, please.
Breakfast at Chef Mickey’s.
This is a great place to start your day with breakfast and character meet-and-greets! AKA all the Mickey waffles you can eat.
Beautiful landscaping and views.
Thanks to my hubby for sharing in our summer adventures at Disney and Bonnaroo.
And of course, we had to bring home a piece of Disney for our furry friend, Anzu.
Have you been to Disney as an adult? Share your favorite moments below! I can’t wait to visit again and am already planning our next trip in my head!
My husband and I were Disney junkies before we had kids and now we’re even more so as a family…def not just for kids 🙂

Yes! I would love visit when their holiday decorations are up! Every time we go, there is more stuff to see!
I’m so glad to hear you enjoyed your trip! I blog about Disney and I don’t have kids so a lot of my stuff is “adults at Disney” focused. I go a couple of times a year but haven’t been to Sprinkles yet – it looks delicious from your photos!!

So jealous! I wanted to go on a trip here next February, but I’m not sure if it’s going to happen.
