My Epic Summer Vacation, Part 2: The Most Magical Place on Earth

While summer is on its way out (hello, fall!), I still want to share details of the second half of our epic summer vacation series! If you missed the first post, check out the busy beginning to our vacation at Bonnaroo.

After having a magical time camping on The Farm and enjoying a long weekend of music at Bonnaroo, AJ and I drove home to Pittsburgh, repacked our bags, and jet setted off to Orlando, FL for an adult Disney trip! And believe me, you’re never too old for a trip to Disney! We think we might have had more fun than some of the kids there anyways.

Here’s a visual lookback on all of our Disney fun.

Obviously he uses antlers in all of his decorating. (A little overkill if you ask me!)

Fine dining at Be Our Guest restaurant.

I might have been the most excited for this! When we were considering where to book reservations a couple months prior to our trip, Be Our Guest was my number one pick. Beauty and the Beast has always been my favorite Disney Classic, and especially after this year’s live action release, I have been in full Belle mode.

Visiting Pandora, the world of Avatar – by day and at night.

Disney’s newest addition to Animal Kingdom is a breathtaking, immersive visit to Pandora. From the floating mountains to the Na’vi River and Flights of Passage, Pandora is a must-see by day and at night! While this is a new section of the park with lots of visitors and long wait times, the lines themselves are enjoyable to see with all of the details that went into bringing Pandora to life.

Star Tours, Wars, and everything else at Hollywood Studios.

Say Star Wars and I’m in. From the Storm Troopers’ march to all of the movie props on display, there are a lot of great things to see. Annnnddd, I can’t wait until the new Star Wars additions are finished! Here’s a preview of what Hollywood Studios is planning.

This is a great place to start your day with breakfast and character meet-and-greets! AKA all the Mickey waffles you can eat.

And of course, we had to bring home a piece of Disney for our furry friend, Anzu.

I’m so glad to hear you enjoyed your trip! I blog about Disney and I don’t have kids so a lot of my stuff is “adults at Disney” focused. I go a couple of times a year but haven’t been to Sprinkles yet – it looks delicious from your photos!!
