Countdown to Avengers: Infinity War with a Marvel Movie Marathon

2018. A new year with new movies. One of my most anticipated releases? Avengers: Infinity War!

While its release on May 4, 2018 may seem like a long ways away, four months is no time at all when you have 18 Marvel movies to watch. Luckily, if you start now, you can watch one movie per week and finish them all before Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters. (Yep, there’s that many.)

Are you up for the Marvel movie marathon challenge? Follow the schedule below and watch along with me! (Oh, and stay tuned for some Marvel-inspired DIY activities. Check out my first Marvel geek eats post — Captain America Apple Pie!)

Note– There is some debate on which order is best to watch all of the films.  For my schedule, I am choosing to watch them chronologically. I also referenced this list on CNET for where they occur on the Marvel timeline. If you’re into the Marvel TV shows, they also include a great breakout of where the shows fit in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

With so many movies and good characters, it can be hard to pick a favorite, but I’m curious… who is your favorite Avenger? Let me know in the comments.

This post was updated following the change to the Avengers: Infinity War release date. Since the release date was moved up a week, the viewing schedule has been slightly adjusted to accommodate the change.

Sounds like a fun challenge to do on most weeks! Interestingly enough, (at least I thought so) I was watching a countdown to infinity thing on Youtube, presented by Stan Lee to Japan and it was basically clips of all the movies in release order. Curiously I don’t remember Iron Man 3 being in there, not that it was a huge problem for me as I wasn’t over fond of that movie. Do you intend to write in response to your movie each week?

I wish I had that many movies, I only have Spider-Man 1, Spider-Man 2, Spider-Man 3, Iron man, Avengers, Fantastic 4 (the first 1 not the new 1) and Hulk.

But to compensate for that i play this mobile game called contest of champions, it’s really fun!
