So… I went to Walmart to do my “grocery shopping” and I casually cruised through the toy section. And what do you know, I found the most amazing Harry Potter must-have items!
I’m not sure how I missed the announcement, but Mattel and Walmart have apparently teamed up to bring us a magical series of Harry Potter dolls. Too old for dolls? Okay, let me rephrase. These Harry Potter collectibles are amazing. Just take my galleons already!

In addition to our favorite Gryffindor trio – Harry, Hermione, and Ron – the Harry Potter doll collection also includes Ginny Weasley, Albus Dumbledore, and Professor McGonagall. Each character is dressed in their Hogwarts robe and comes with their very own wand.
While Walmart.com is currently sold out of the dolls, I did just spot a handful of dolls at my local store. Make sure to visit the toy section of your local store soon before they’re gone! They’re all priced affordably at $20.97, so they surely won’t be around for long.
Which doll is your favorite? And what characters do you hope they add to the collection next? My votes are for Draco, Snape, Hagrid, and Gilderoy Lockhart!

These are cute. I still have my Knight Bus that i received in 3rd grade sitting on my book shelf. I can’t part with it yet.

Sometimes dolls can be creepy. Those old porcelain Victorian ones… sometimes even Barbie molded dolls. SOOOO not the case with these!! They have such a cute likeness to the characters! 😍 I can’t wait to add the Hermione, Harry and Ginny to my collection of potter merch… or as I should call it, my potter museum haha. I do wish Ginny had more obvious freckles on her face! 😛 Maybe she does up close or I’m just being picky haha. 😛The doll I most want to see made most of all is Luna of course! Preferably in the outfit she wears when she spends time with the thestrals in the forbidden forest… but I have a feeling Mattel will go with her more iconic spectrespec hogwarts express outfit. Whatever the case more Luna in my life is always welcome. 😚

A Luna doll would be the perfect addition! I am definitely in favor of that suggestion! She would have the cutest hair and accessories to go along with her doll. And I agree – these dolls are adorable!
I used to collect Barbie dolls so I have a few comments.
First, OMG!
I have no idea if these dolls will make it to my corner of the world but I will certainly keep an eye out for them. I think it’s great that they actually look like the characters.
Not a fan of the moulded hair on Harry and Ron but I’m loving all the different face moulds they have used.
Professor McGonagall is amazing!
Imagine a Voldemort doll in this series!!!! Hahah creepy.

I hope they find their way to you! And wow – a Voldemort Doll would be super creepy. Maybe they could make young Tom Riddle so the kids aren’t as scared. HAHA 🙂
