Amok, Amok, Amok! 7 Ways to Get Your Hocus Pocus On

Full moon? According to Dani, that’s when the weirdos come out.

And I guess you could say she’s kinda right. To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Disney’s Hocus Pocus, I’ve teamed up with a group of not-so-weirdo bloggers to bring you seven ideas to get your Hocus Pocus on.

So turn on the movie and get ready for a little Sanderson Sister fun.

1 — Sanderson Sisters Caramel Apples by Geeks Who Eat

Winifred: Why, why, WHY, was I cursed with such idiot sisters?
Sarah: Just lucky I guess.

Tis the season for caramel apples! And these Winnie, Sarah, and Mary decorated apples by Geeks Who Eat are oh so festive.

2 — Binx’s Black Cat Cookies by A Table Full of Joy

Winifred (& sisters): Twist the bones and bend the back. Trim him of his baby fat. Give him fur black as black, just like this.

Did you know that Binx’s first name is Thackery? Not Zachary? Okay, let’s admit it — we’ve all said Zachary Binx (in Emily’s high pitch voice) once or twice before!

Either way, these black cat cookies are perfect for the holiday season. Find the details from A Table Full of Joy and bake a batch for your holiday party.

3 — Chocolate Dead Man’s Toes by The Necro-Nom-Nom-Nomicon

Winifred: Oil of boil and a dead man’s nose.
Sarah: Dead man’s toe!

These chocolate dead man’s toes are cringe worthy, in a good way! If you’re looking for a creepy treat to scare the children, Necro-Nom-Nom-Nomicon has just the thing.

4 — Sanderson Sisters Cupcake Toppers & Jack o’Lantern Cups by Dahlia July

Winifred (& sisters): I put a spell on you, and now you’re mine.

Add a little DIY to your sweet treats with these witchy cupcake toppers from Dahlia July. And bonus — these pumpkin cups will come in handy for the next Hocus Pocus recipe…

5 — Salem Spiced Cider by The Gluttonous Geek

Winifred: We must find the book, brew the potion and suck the lives out of the children of Salem before sunrise. Otherwise it’s curtains. We evaporate! We cease to exist! Dost thou comprehend?

Witch’s brew? This treat from The Gluttonous Geek is the perfect drink to warm you up on cool fall nights.

6 — DIY Hocus Pocus Halloween Garland by Popcorner Reviews (Me!)

Max: It’s just a bunch of hocus pocus.

This year, I created a new Hocus Pocus DIY for a subtle, geek chic Halloween garland that you can add to your fall decor. Find all the details and files here.

7 — BoooOOOoook Brownies by Popcorner Reviews (Me!)

Winifred: Hello, I want my book. Bonjour, je veux mon livre.

Last year I shared a post on how to bake boooOOOoook brownies — just be mindful that Winifred may show up at your house if you keep these around too long.
