The toys are back! The toys are back!
Toy Story 4 is actually happening!
And my reaction is pretty much that of Ducky’s…
Ducky and Bunny? New characters? Who dis?!
Well, if you’re wondering why the voices of these two new characters sound awfully familiar, it’s because they are voiced by Keegan-Michael Key (Ducky) and Jordan Peele (Bunny), known for their hilarious Comedy Central show, Key & Peele. (P.S. If you’ve never seen it, you should check out their “Liam Neesons & Bruce Willy” skit.)
Additionally, our favorite gang of toys, Woody (Tom Hanks), Buzz (Tim Allen), Jesse (Joan Cusack), and squad, are also joined by an unlikely new character — Forky, yep, as in a plastic fork, voiced by Tony Hale.
What’s Toy Story 4 About?
According to Disney-Pixar, “Woody has always been confident about his place in the world and that his priority is taking care of his kid, whether that’s Andy or Bonnie. But when Bonnie adds a reluctant new toy called “Forky” to her room, a road trip adventure alongside old and new friends will show Woody how big the world can be for a toy.”
Toy Story 4 is scheduled to hit theaters on June 21, 2019. Are you ready for the road trip?
