‘Andy’ Shoe Sticker and New Toy Story 4 Trailer

It’s hard to believe that the original Toy Story is approaching its 24th anniversary! Time has flown since its release in November 1995, but I’ll never forget the adventures of Woody, Buzz, and the gang. From moving day to escaping the evil clutches of Zurg and Al’s Toy Barn and surviving a trip to daycare, each adventure has brought this group of toys closer together and closer to our hearts.

You may think one would become less attached to Andy’s toys once they’re an “adult”, but that wasn’t the case for me when Toy Story 3 came to theaters in 2010… I cried at least three times (no shame). Now with the release of Toy Story 4 on June 21, I’m mentally preparing myself for the likely tug on my heartstrings. (I’ll definitely be taking a few tissues to the theater with me.)

DIY ‘Andy’ Shoe Sticker

While Andy may be off to college and the toys are making new memories with Bonnie, I will always think of Woody and Buzz as Andy’s toys. Whether you’re re-watching the Toy Story series, headed to the theater to see Toy Story 4, or visiting Pixar Pier, an easy Disney Bound touch is an ‘Andy’ sticker for the bottom of your right cowboy boot (or your sneaker).

DOWNLOAD this ‘Andy’ template and print it out on sticker paper or cut it on vinyl using your Cricut or another cutting machine.

About Toy Story 4

Woody (voice of Tom Hanks) has always been confident about his place in the world, and that his priority is taking care of his kid, whether that’s Andy or Bonnie. So, when Bonnie’s beloved new craft-project-turned-toy, Forky (voice of Tony Hale), declares himself as “trash” and not a toy, Woody takes it upon himself to show Forky why he should embrace being a toy.

But when Bonnie takes the whole gang on her family’s road trip excursion, Woody ends up on an unexpected detour that includes a reunion with his long-lost friend Bo Peep (voice of Annie Potts). After years of being on her own, Bo’s adventurous spirit and life on the road belie her delicate porcelain exterior.

As Woody and Bo realize they’re worlds apart when it comes to life as a toy, they soon come to find that’s the least of their worries. Directed by Josh Cooley (“Riley’s First Date?”), and produced by Mark Nielsen (associate producer “Inside Out”) and Jonas Rivera (“Inside Out,” “Up”), Disney and Pixar’s “Toy Story 4” ventures to U.S. theaters on June 21, 2019.

Growing up, I was the odd kid out because Toy Story kinda spooked me. I never watched all the movies til my late teens, and when I did – I loved them. So endearing! I kinda felt like the 3rd movie was a good finale, so it was strange when I heard the 4th is coming out – but it sure looks like it’ll be adorable. I love love this idea for the Andy stencil!
