I’m a big Downton Abbey fan! After watching all six seasons of the television series created by Julian Fellowes, I was over the moon when I heard Downton would be coming back, this time to the big screen!

I saw the Downton movie in theaters and smiled the entire time. Seeing some of my favorite characters back together again was such a joy, and this past weekend when I re-watched the film from my living room, I loved it just as much the second time.

Not only does Downton have amazing music, sets, and costumes, but it also has a very fun script, infused with feisty comebacks and one liners from Isobel Merton and Violet Crawley, the Dowager Countess of Grantham. Here are some of my favorite quotes from the film.
