Dearest Reader,
With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, you may be looking for the perfect holiday treat for the love interest in your life.
Fret not, I’ve got the cutest candy heart cookies that you can make with an easy decorating technique. Just grab an alphabet set of rubber stamps, find your favorite Bridgerton romantic quote, and decorate some lovely Valentine’s Day cookies inspired by Daphne Bridgerton, Simon Basset, and, of course, Lady Whistledown.
xoxo,
Lady Whistledown
Netflix’s Bridgerton has taken the internet by storm! So, of course, I was inspired to make a few cookies inspired by the show and its memorable quotes.
It’s not the first time this has happened, either. Earlier this year I shared a fun cookie recipe for Enola Holmes after seeing that Netflix original movie, too.

What You Need:
- Iced sugar cookies – hearts in various sizes and colors
- Alphabet stamp set (this is the one I used)
- Food coloring – red
- Food-safe paint brush
- Food-safe fine-tip marker (in red)
To start, bake your favorite sugar cookies in the shape of hearts. The size is up to you, but I found it easiest to make them slightly oversized to have more room to add some longer quotes!
Use royal icing in various pastel colors — pink, purple, green, yellow — to ice the top of the cookies. Let the icing dry completely before proceeding with the stamp decorations (overnight is recommended).
Once your icing has set, it’s time to decorate.
Wash and dry your stamp set prior to using. Then select your favorite Bridgerton quotes to decorate with.

Helpful Tips: Prior to stamping any of the cookies, make sure to consider the spacing you will want your letters to have. Also, make sure to practice your stamps on a piece of paper to get comfortable with how much food coloring to use!
To decorate your cookies with a quote, use a food-safe paint brush to apply red food gel coloring to each individual letter stamp. Once your stamp has food coloring applied to it, gently stamp the letter onto the cookie in your desired location, then proceed with the next letter.
If your stamped letter does not come out perfectly or has a gap in the letter, use a red food-safe marker to fill in the space once the letters have dried. But remember — the typical stamp style/aesthetic is never quite perfect, so relish in the blemishes!
Let your cookie quotes dry entirely, then enjoy!
