The new season of Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous releases this Friday, May 21, on Netflix!
If you’re a fan of Camp Cretaceous like I am, then you are in luck. Season 3 is definitely the BIGGEST and SCARIEST season yet!
Check out my spoiler-free review of season 3 — but if you’re new to the series, check out my season 1 overview first.
The Adventure Continues in Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous Season 3
Set against the timeline of the blockbuster film Jurassic World, the thrilling series follows a group of six teenagers chosen for a once-in-a-lifetime experience at Camp Cretaceous, a new adventure camp on the opposite side of Isla Nublar who must work together to survive when dinosaurs wreak havoc across the island.
Still stranded on the island, the campers uncover more details of Dr. Wu’s secret research, and must quickly take their fate into their own hands with a dangerous plan to leave Isla Nublar behind for good. But when a tropical storm delays their departure, a lethal new threat quickly closes in on the campers, placing their escape, as well as their lives, in extreme peril.
The series is executive produced by Scott Kreamer and Aaron Hammersley who also serve as showrunners. Steven Spielberg, Colin Trevorrow, and Frank Marshall serve as executive producers. The series was developed by Zack Stentz, who also serves as consulting producer.
Interview with Paul-Mikél Williams & Raini Rodriguez
Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous features the voices of Paul-Mikel Williams as resident dino expert Darius; Raini Rodriguez as Sammy; Jenna Ortega as social media sensation Brooklynn; Ryan Potter as Kenji; Sean Giambrone as Ben; and Kausar Mohammed as Yaz.
I was so excited to participate in a recent cast Q&A with Paul-Mikél Williams (“Darius”) and Raini Rodriguez (“Sammy”)! Not only did we talk exciting and scary moments to look for in season 3, but they also shared what it has been like joining the Jurassic World franchise and being welcomed by the passionate fan community. (Anyone else a Dino nerd like I am??)
