And while I’ve never known a time without MARVEL’s impact on pop culture, I don’t even want to imagine what it would be like without it! Throughout the years, MARVEL has brought us some of the most memorable characters and stories — from Spider-Man to The Fantastic Four, Captain America, Iron Man, and, more recently, Ms. Marvel and Squirrel Girl, the list goes on and on.
My love of all things MARVEL stems from the iconic characters found throughout the epic story lines. From the comic pages the heroic (and sometimes villainous) acts of MARVEL characters have pulled me in and made me a lifelong fan. For me, celebrating the MARVEL 80th Anniversary meant ordering the Avengers MARVEL Legends Series Endgame Power Gauntlet Articulated Electronic Fist from Amazon (it arrived the very next day that I ordered it!).
Ever since I first saw that a power gauntlet would be released in the MARVEL Legends Series collectibles, I knew I HAD to have it. Yes, I’m a huge MARVEL fan so naturally I thought it was cool, but there’s more to it than that… You see, earlier this year, I was eyeing up Thanos’ infinity gauntlet, from the MARVEL Legends Series collection, and dropping hints left and right to my husband that I wanted it. Since the gauntlet collectibles are on the larger size at 19.5 inches tall, I knew he might not think it was the best choice for our ever-growing MARVEL collection that seems to get larger and larger by the day. After Christmas and my birthday had come and gone, I lost hope that I would ever wield all of the infinity stones. That is until Valentine’s Day! I arrived home from a long day at work to find a beautiful bouquet of roses waiting for me on the kitchen counter… inside the gorgeous infinity gauntlet (see it here)! Talk about the most amazing and geeky Valentine’s Day ever! He sure is a keeper.
So when I saw that the Avengers MARVEL Legends Series Endgame Power Gauntlet Articulated Electronic Fist would be released as well, I knew I had to have the matching set.
I’m happy to say, the power gauntlet does not disappoint!
Measuring in at 19.5 inches tall, this power gauntlet is a replica that all MARVEL collectors need on display. It has an articulated electronic fist and articulated fingers that allow you to movie, position, and even lock your fingers into a display mode. Each of the stones light up with a pulsating glow effect. You can also move the fingers and press the stones to launch a series of light and sound effect sequences.
